Having photographed weddings since 2004, you can only imagine how many tips for brides Laurie & Caroline of Back2Back Photography have learned along the way. They’ve gathered all of this knowledge and created this amazing e-book to help brides, grooms, or anyone planning a wedding. This expert advice will help couples get the most out of their wedding photos and also help their wedding day run as smoothly as possible.
These are tips from a photographers point of view that you may never even think of without actually being there behind the camera throughout the day. Laurie and Caroline give advice on hair & makeup, the dress, getting ready, the bridal party, the reception, and much more. Their real photos give you a visual example to better explain and show how these tips will help.
Laurie & Caroline Hart of Back2Back Photography in Somerset Massachuestts are wedding photographers who are passionate about photography. They create fresh, fun ideas, incorporating each couples unique personalities into photos and also design a special Photographic Journal telling the story of their wedding day.
Here’s what Laurie and Caroline have to say about their new book:
Laurie and I have travelled widely and loved to photograph what we saw, from the beauty of the rolling Italian Tuscan countryside to the people in the devastated Tamil Nadu region of India. Our experiences have been extensive but it is with wedding photography that we actually fell in love, the happiest day of a couple’s life, what could be more enjoyable as a profession than that! We have been photographing weddings since 2004 across England and New England and one thing is for sure no two weddings are ever the same, even when we do two sisters weddings or a brother and sister, every couple is very different. As photographers we are privy to all that is happening on the day in front of and behind the camera as we spend more time with the couple than any other vendor on the day. Because of this we have always tried to give our couples helpful advice and everyone said “you should write a book”, so that is exactly what we have done. We wanted to share our tips with all couples getting married not just our own couples!
In our book we give many helpful tips from getting ready to what season is for you, choosing your bridal party and whether or not to include kid’s on the day. All of our tips come directly from the result of actual experiences that we have noted from wedding days that we have covered.
Here’s an actual tip right from the book:
Holding Memories Close To Your Heart
We often find that there is someone very important who is missing on the day, it can be a parent, grandparent, sibling or friend and you want to keep them close to your heart. Although nothing can make up for them not being with you one thing that you can do is personalize your bouquet with a special momento from that person, another thing we suggest, especially if it is a parent, is have their wedding band with you, a groom can keep it in his breast pocket and a bride can wear it on a necklace.
We’d recommend this book to anyone planning a wedding as it has expert tips and advice from two amazing photographers!
