400 Acre Farm Wedding – MetroStyle Studios

Chris Reed & Linda Keskey from Havre, Montana were married on the Keskey family farm on August 24, 2012. What an adorable couple and an amazing day for a farm wedding! George Day of MetroStyle Studios of Minneapolis, Minnesota captured the day and shared his favorite photos and some techniques on how they came out so nice!

“Being an organic vegan myself, I had a good time on the wedding day chatting with and getting to know the bride’s parents, who own & operate this 400-acre organic corn & soybean farm in central Minnesota. My assistant, Justin Evidon, and I worked the farm theme into many of our posed photos and rounded out the couple’s album with a fair amount of photojournalistic captures. Justin worked most of the day with a 50mm Sigma on his Canon 5D MkII and I used my 5D MkII with the Canon 24-70 2.8L and 70-200 2.8 L. For the occasional dramatic wide-angle, I switch to a Sigma 15-30mm zoom. We always shoot everything in RAW, and post-production is done in ACR (Adobe Bridge in CS5) before converting files in to PS for a variety of treatments.”
