What’s new in the photography industry? Wedding photography registries! It’s not something everyone has jumped on the band-wagon for yet, though I predict it will be a revolutionary fad. With today’s economy (and more and more brides risking poor results by turning towards amateurs for services), it would certainly benefit both the professional and the customer to offer a more feasible way to offer professional wedding photography without people having to break the bank.

Honeymoon Photography is a new upcoming phenomenon. As couples begin to choose more out of the norm locations (or luxury honeymoon locales) this becomes increasing important to document. Capture hipstamatic iPhone wedding photos for an entire wedding day? That’s the unique opportunity that member Marc Sadowski came accross on a craigslist ad.
Katie and RT, this adorable couple, were looking for a photographer to shoot their wedding specifically with an iPhone using the Hipstamatic app. If you’re not yet aware of what this cool app does, the hipstamatic app provides different lens, film and flash options that give photos a hip, vintage look.
Marc and his friend Keith Tharp, hosts of Tiny Shutter, an iPhone photography podcast, jumped at the opportunity and were chosen for the shoot!

Some of the many wedding ideas to personalize both a ceremony and reception are to incorporate a favorite movie genre, pay homage to a classic movie trilogy or immortalize the day by including elements of a beloved TV show. There are many different ways for die-hard Sci-Fi fanatics to integrate a part of their lives, in this case, their favorite genre of movies and TV shows, into their weddings.
