Alyssa has loved photography and art for as long as she
can remember. After years of photographing as a hobby, she decided to turn
it into a career. Her training under prize-winning, highly-published
photographers, led to job opportunities in photojournalism at NBC, local
newspapers and several magazines.
Alyssa has won various awards for her work from many sources, including
the International Library of Photography and InFocus Magazine. In 2000,
Alyssa opened AS Photography... And hasn't set down her camera since. With
her quiet, unobtrusive style, Alyssa is able to photograph without ruining
the integrity of the moment. "My goal in life is to relish every single second. I have a
true understanding of how fragile life is. Because of this understanding,
I believe I have been blessed with the ability to record the moments of
life that would otherwise slip away..."
