Our wedding day was the happiest day of our lives, but also extremely stressful. Having a photographer who emitted confidence, calmness, and did everything with a smile was just what we needed. We cannot say enough great things about JC as a photographer. We planned our wedding in 5 months and it was nice to be able to find a photographer that we liked so soon. JC was the first photographer that we met with and we were so impressed that we did not feel like we had to meet with anyone else! JC definitely made us feel that he was invested in our happiness and put his all into both the JustUs session and the wedding day.
We had so many fabulous photos from the JustUs session and the wedding to work with that it was hard to narrow them down for the album! JC makes things so easy that we never stressed when it came to the photography part of our wedding. When it came time to design the album, JC worked with us to make it easy and exactly what we wanted it to be.
In all honesty, JC was simply fabulous and we would recommend him to anyone. Thank you so much JC for helping to make our wedding day perfect. The photos are the only thing that you really get to keep and they captured the day exactly as we wanted. When we start a family, I know we will be contacting you to take family portraits! :)

JC, THANK YOU - the pictures are beautiful! You did one hell of a job -- we never understood really how powerful your Photoshop techniques were until we saw some of the pictures you touched up. They are amazing!
By the way... I have to tell you- I went to a wedding last weekend in Lake Tahoe. It was gorgeous, but their photographer was a blow hard guy who picked up a camera a few years ago taking pictures with his wife. They did not have any plan -- they didn't set up any shots and I'm afraid that my good friend is going to have lousy pictures because I am also sure he does not do Photoshop post-processing. I thought back on your style at our wedding and it was then that I truly realized 100% what a bad ass you are -- I knew you were bad, but damn -- you made us look like models and I am so proud to show everyone our wedding photos. You are so worth the money and we would recommend your work in a heart beat.

Oh JC, we are overwhelmed at the beauty of your photographs! You have truly captured the joy and love of the entire day!!! I am sooooooooooo glad we bought you a TAHOE vacation because I don't know how I could ever thank you enough.
God, I can't believe how beautiful they are....
Both my husband and I knew we picked the right photographer right away because JC really wanted to help us create what WE WANTED for our wedding. Sometimes, vendors have their own agendas which can make things difficult but JC immediately listened to us and had great suggestions for creating a timeline, photo locations, and simple ideas of how to gather people for photos which made the day much easier!
He worked exceptionally well with our other vendors, but what impressed us was that he took time to go to all the wedding locations so he knew exactly how to shoot them before the big day. Our pastor was so touched that he went to the church ahead of time and talked with him. However, once we got our proofs we were absolutely blown away by how he captured the emotions of the day! Seeing the photos was literally like reliving my wedding because not only did he take A LOT of pictures, but his style makes the photos come alive! The colors, the angles, the ideas of where to shoot were so unique and beautiful. I admit, at times during our photo shoot I was curious about some of his ideas until I saw the effects on film. Very special yet incredibly personal. We have so many photos to choose from- THAT is our biggest problem-how to narrow them all down!
He has our best recommendation and we know you will love him as much as we do! Thanks again JC -- we will never forget you!!

JC is such a talented professional, full of boundless energy, extremely easy to work with, and most of all, a pro who continuously demonstrates his willingness to go above and beyond, to provide his clients with the most memorable experiences. Read on!
My fiancee and I were not really into the typical romantic beach type of JustUs experience. So when we approached JC with our UNIQUE idea (I bet nobody else had done this!), he got so excited that we knew we had found THE photographer who was willing to work w/ us.
You see, our idea was to have our engagement photoshoot in Carmel AND include a BMW track event, at the world famous Laguna Seca Raceway in Monterey, CA. Imagine beautiful cars screaming down the straightaway, twisting through corners, and powering up steep inclines to the famous 'Corkscrew' turn. Doesn't sound as romantic as a sunset shot overlooking the Golden Gate, right? Well, let's just say that we had confidence in JC, and his excitement to try something unique! We booked a multi-day JustUs experience...and JC delivered. He even went above and beyond by scouting out the locations in Monterey and Carmel, so that our whole experience was very relaxed, planned, and stress free. All we had to do was smile =)
Then the pictures came in, I could not believe it. JC's artistic talent was able to show that the days were about us, and his jaw dropping shots fully conveyed the Love that my fiancee and I have for each other. If JC can do this at a track event with loud cars screaming by at 120mph, I'm confident that any experiences with him behind the camera will be just as memorable.
...oh yeah, we ended up doing the sunset at the beach too =)

One of the only tangible items left from our wedding are the photographs.
