Bill Rancic, 36, winner of hit show the Apprentice season one and Giuliana DePandi, 32, E! News anchor, got married on Saturday September 1st. It was a traditional Catholic ceremony held on the island of Capri in Italy. It took place in the 500 year old Santa Sophia Church in Anacapri. Rancic's childhood priest from the Chicago area performed the ceremony in both English and Italian.
Giuliana wore a a custom fit two-piece white silk Monique Lhuillier dress with a tight-fitting, strapless lace bodice, full skirt and a satin sash. The same gown was worn by stars such as Britney Spears and Pink. Bill wore a white tie and black tuxedo custom tailored by Guiliana's father Eduardo, a master tailor. The wedding party consisted of four bridesmaids, including Bobbie Thomas, Style Network personality, and a maid of honor, the brides sister Monica. They walked down the aisle in pale yellow chiffon dresses by BCBG. Rancic's honorary best man was his late father. The brides brother, Pasquale DePandi, an opera singer, sang Ave Maria after the couple exchanged vows. The altar was draped in hydrangea and a string trio an organ played their music.
The 180 guests who attended included Comic Chelsea Handler and Ted Harbert, president and CEO of Comcast Entertainment Group. Donald Trump did not attend because of scheduling conflicts.
Italian folk dancers performed for the guests just before the reception, and DePandi and Rancic arrived at the reception in a red convertible Fiat. The reception had elaborate centerpieces and a 16-piece Capri orchestra. The menu included Southern Italian fare.

The couple met in April 2004 when Giuliana interviewed Bill after his win on the Apprentice. They started dating in 2006, and Rancic proposed to her on a helicopter ride over Chicago on December 15th 2006.
Rancic still works for the Trump organization since 2004. He's also the author of two books, "You're Hired" and "Beyond the Lemonade Stand". DePandi is an anchor for E! News Live and also cohosts red carpet events with Ryan Seacrest. She is also an author of a book, "Think Like a Guy: How to Get a Guy by Thinking Like One"
There is no honeymoon planned yet because of their work schedules. DePandi will be covering the Emmys on September 16th while Rancic will be hosting the IVillage show "In the Loop".
