 Eddie Murphy 46, celebrated the 2008 new year with a wedding on January 1st. His new wife, Tracey Edmonds, 40, is a film producer.
The ceremony was held on private island off Bora Bora in French Polynesia. It was an intimate sunset ceremony on the beach under a gazebo made of 6,000 shells.
Edmonds was beautifully barefoot wearing an off-white creation by designers Sugia Nazel and Jill Baracci, with gorgeous bead work on the gowns delicate French lace and ruffles of silk taffeta on the train. Murphy looked handsome in a cream-colored suit.
Johnny Gill was Murphy's best man, and Julie Lev was Edmonds matrin of honor. Nicole Avant was the maid of honor.
Edmunds gifts to her bridesmaids were diamond and gold earrings from XIV Karats in Beverly Hills, California. Murphy gave his groomsmen D. Atlantis watches.
The wedding guests consisted of a small group of 25 family & friends. The guests included Edmonds parents and Murphy's mom. No famous faces attended and none of their kids were there. After the wedding the couple and their guests celebrated with dinner and dancing, with music by DJ Darrin Ebron.

They were engaged in July of 2007, when Murphy proposed with a 8-carat yellow diamond Cartier engagement ring.
