Tom Cruise, 44, and Katie Holmes, 27, wedding is finally happening this weekend. It will take place at the 15th Century Castello Odescalchi overlooking Lake Bracciano near the Italian Capital outside Rome on Saturday. The celebration will go on for three days straight, an initial party on November 16th, the catholic wedding will happen on the 17th, then the final ceremony will happen on the 18th conducted by scientology. The party on November 16th was for 130 guests and had a menu of 12 dishes, mostly traditional Italian cooking such as raviolis and artichokes.
Cruise and Holmes are staying at the Hassler hotel at the top of the Spanish Steps. They were spotted meeting Katies parents at the nearby St. Regis Grand Hotel, visiting with them for about an hour.
Georgio Armani has been given the responsibility of designing Katie Holmes gown and arranging the ceremony, which was an estimated cost of 2 million dollars. The towels in the bedrooms were made to be the colors of the wedding and display the couples initials, a cost of seven thousand dollars. The jewelery for the wedding will be provided by David Orgel. Katies diamond wedding band is said to have 150 diamonds on it. It has also been reported that one hundred black limousines were rented for the wedding along with three hundred bodyguards.

Saturdays celebration at the medieval castle is expected to have 500 people attending, including many celebrities. Some of the celebrities include actress Brooke Shields, Jim Carrey, Jennifer Lopez, Will and Jada Pinkett Smith, John Travolta and wife Kelly Preston, Jamie Foxx, and many more.
Tom and Katie have been engaged since June 2005 and have a 7 month old daughter named Suri.

Well, its official, Katie Holmes accepts Tom Cruise's proposal for marriage! After weeks of speculation of the couples relationship, Tom proposed to Katie at the top of the Eiffel Tower in Paris on June 16th. Tom, who did not get down on one knee, revealed that he would like to get married at the Eiffel Tower surrounded by his and Katie's families.
Since the couple announced their relationship in April, rumors spread about how this relationship is all just sham to promote both actors upcoming big summer movies. Katie, 26, has been traveling to promote her new movie "Batman Begins" while Cruise, 42, is in Paris to promote his new blockbuster "War of the Worlds. People magazine ran a poll finding nearly two thirds of those questioned believed the relationship is all an act to promote the movies. Cruise has been one of the most private stars, never sharing his personal business with the world. But now it seems he is a teenager in love who cannot control his feelings, displaying his affection in public without a care in the world of what the press or anyone else thinks.
Homes has also shared with the press that she is now studying and embracing the Church of Scientology , Cruise's religion. She attends seminars and conferences and claims she feels she is becoming a better person because of it. Scientology is the controversial religion that lists Cruise as its most active and prominent proponent. He says it cured him of dyslexia.
This will be the third marriage for Cruise — he divorced Mimi Rogers and Nicole Kidman. He was with Nicole for 10 years and they adopted two children together. This will be the first marriage for Holmes, she was previously engaged actor Chris Klein but broke off their engagement in March after dating for five years.
No wedding date has been set, Cruise said they haven't discussed that, they are taking it one step at a time.
